This is an effort being coordinated by the Gainesville Area Innovative Network (GAIN). GAIN asked all their members to start groups
and promote them to their niche. GAIN will take everyone's combined efforts and apply to Google. There is a small prize for the
largest group. The US is way behind on infrastructure technology. Copper cable is decades old. Countries with newer infrastructure,
like South Korea, already have fiber optic to homes. Fiber optic cable to homes is coming one way or another. The sooner the better.
Waiting for the TV cable companies or the telephone companies is going to be sad. They have no incentive. Google, on the other hand,
cannot wait to make the Internet faster.
