Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Next month, I will be starting up Israeli Dancing again on Mondays starting January 7. It will be a B'nai Israel.
At the end of January, beginning of February, you will be able to take a few classes that I will be running through Santa Fe Community Education, including beginning Swing, Line Dancing and Israeli Dancing.
The beginning Tango dancers can take a new series that Andrea Pham is starting up. Contact Andrea at pham.andrea@gmail.com. You can also join David and Thuy on Tuesdays. Contact David at david.chayes@gmail.com.
I am still looking for a place for Swing and Hustle with Andy on Sundays, Tango with Nick and a place that groups also can share for the other dances.
You have lots of choices for celebrating the New Year.
For pre-New Years' Eve party and to celebrate my birthday, come out Sunday December 30 to the advanced Contra Dance at the Boltin Center from 4 to 7.
For Swing dancers, Janet and Alex are having a New Year's Eve party in the ballroom of the Tigert-Barrows house, which is an historic building in the Duckpond area. The address is 224 NE 10 Avenue. There will be a bonfire, dance floor and music. Bring snacks and drinks to share. Contact Alex 352-214-0412.
The International Folk Dancers are having a New Year's Eve Party at someone's home. For details, contact Jack Seltzer seltzerj1@gmail.com.
There is a New Year's Eve Ballroom Dance party at the Senior Center with Ray and Eileen.
Downtown Gainesville there is always a New Year's Eve free concert outdoors, which is a lot of fun.
There is a huge New Year's Eve Swing dance in St. Petersburg for only $30.

3. Tuesdays - Richard Swing
4. Tuesdays - Ballroom with Ray and Eileen

7. Thursdays - Ballroom with Ray and Eileen
Josh's monthly West Coast Swing Dance is coming up January 5 and this is a PJ BDay party for Josh.
