Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Dancing all weekend long, starting tonight Thursday and a great month of dancing in October. Here are some of the highlights. Check the calendar for the full schedule.
UF Swing Club host the Gainesville Lindy Exchange this weekend, Thursday through Sunday. See the schedule here.
Today, Thursday come out from 11 am to noon for Line Dancing with Andy at 308 West. Tonight, come out to 308 West for Swing and Hustle with Andy from 8 to 10 pm. $5 each. Free for All U Can Dance members. Also tonight at 308 West, Salsa with Diane at 8 for beginners, at 9 for advanced, only $5. If you attend Salsa, join Swing and Hustle for free.
Also tonight, learn Country Two Step, aka Texas Two Step in a four week series with Ray and Eileen at By Ear Musician.
Friday UF Tango is having a dance, no class, from 8 to 11 pm, after which Josbell hosts a Salsa and Latin Dance Social, both at 308 West.
Saturday, become one with the universe with Shake Your Soul the Yoga of Dance with Erin from 4 to 5 at 308 West.
Sunday there is the monthly Contra Dance at the Boltin Center.
At 308 West on Sunday, come out for Swing and Hustle from 6 to 9:30 pm. Come back to 308 West at midnight for Late Night with Gainesville Lindy Exchange until 3 am.
Reminder Judi is teaching Night Club Two Step on Wednesday nights.

Dancing includes:
- Sundays: Swing 101 (6 pm), Swing+ (7 pm) and Hustle! (8:20 pm)
- Sundays: Open Argentine Tango practice (6 - 9:30 pm)
- Mondays: Israeli Circle (7 pm) and Partner Dances (8:30 pm)
- Tuesdays: Argentine Tango 101 (6-7:30 pm)
- Wednesdays: Argentine Tango practice (7:30-9 pm)
- Thursdays: Line Dancing dancing (11 am-noon)
- Thursdays: Open Swing and Hustle dancing (8-10 pm)
- Saturdays: Two Argentine Tango Milongas (costs extra)
- Open Times: any time the studio is open and one of the rooms is available
Monthly Rates Excluding Saturday Nights:
$35 Person, $65 Couple, $15 Student, or
$25 if you paid monthly for another group, or
$20 for Tango only (Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday)
Monthly Rates Including 2 Saturday Night Tango Milongas:
$45 Person, $20 Student
Sunday Night:
$10 Person, $5 Student
$7 Person, $3 Student if you paid elsewhere during prior 6 days
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
$5 Person, $3 Student
Monday is per family. Friday free for students.
