Hello Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,
English Country dancing is every Monday night. Now that Israeli dancing has moved to Tuesdays, you can do both.
Israeli dancing starts a new day and time this Tuesday January 10 from 7:30 to 9:30 or so, now in the big room at the Gainesville Dance Association, 308 West University Avenue. Beginners from 7:30 to 8:30. Intermediate from 8:30 to 9. Israeli partner dancing, the most fun of all the partner dances, from 9 to 9:30 or so.
Also today, Monday January 2 is English Country Dancing, which is in the big room at 308 West starting at 7:00.
International Folk dancing meets this Friday January 13. This is your last chance to dance with them this month, so take advantage. Their next meeting is February 3.
Come out on Sunday nights to Swing and Hustle! Swing from 7 to 8:30. Hustle 8:30 to 9:30. We are having a lot of fun. Come join us. If you pay full price on Sunday, Israeli is free on Tuesday.
Three new dance classes for novices start in two weeks, offered via Santa Fe College Community Education: (1) Contra Dancing 101, (2) Lindy Swing Dancing 101 and (3) Israeli Folk Dancing 101. Sign up at SFC.
