Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
My sessions start back up in April. There will be two beginning swing classes, which are perfect for new dancers. We have had a number of women recently join our dance community. It would be nice to have some new men dancers as well. These new classes are a great opportunity for you to encourage novice male dancers to get started dancing. Super Simple Swing in particular is designed for people that have been apprehensive about learning to dance, like those that say they have two left feet. If you know anyone that might be interested, encourage them to come out for either of these 6-week sessions:
- Super Simple Swing 101 for novice dancers, 6 to 7 pm, Thursdays at Gainesville High School, starting April 11
- Beginning West Coast Swing, 7 to 8:30 pm, Thursdays at Gainesville High School, starting April 11

To keep your dance community strong, you have to constantly recruit new dancers. Here are flyers you can print and give out to people that might be interested. You will be doing them a favor.
There will be Israeli Dancing this Monday March 11. Karen will lead in my place. Israeli Dancing will then break for 3 weeks due to Passover and start up again April 8.
This Saturday night come out Ballroom Dancing with Ray and Eileen.
Next Monday starts Andrea's Introduction to Argentine Tango 6-Week Series for Beginners. Andrea does not do this often. This is your best chance any time soon of learning Argentine Tango. Take this opportunity. pham.andrea@gmail.com
Kay is teaching two classes at Gainesville Health and Fitness starting Friday March 22: (1) Beginning Ballroom Dancing and (2) Introduction to Dips and Lifts. www.ghfc.com/specialty-classes
Richard is teaching East Coast Swing on Tuesday nights again. Bob Rogers is teaching Crash Course Ballroom Dancing on Tuesdays. Both are at the Boltin Center from 7 to 9.
In an unusual twist, you can learn Two-Step two nights of the week this month, with Judi on Wednesdays and Ray on Thursdays (the first two, then Bolero).
Bob Rogers is teaching Intermediate Ballroom Dances on Thursdays at the Boltin Center.
