Israeli dancing this week and next, then three week break

Hello Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

 

We are Israeli dancing tonight, Monday March 4. This will be my last night in March. Karen has volunteered to lead dancing on March 11, so we have two more weeks of Israeli before a three week break starting March 18. March 25 and April 1 are Passover Yom Tovs, so we will not be dancing those two days. Israeli dancing will start up again Monday April 8.

 

The last Senior Line Dancing is this series is this Tuesday at the Senior Center with beginners at 11:30 and intermediate at 12:30.

 

Starting up in April, will be four classes via Santa Fe Community Education. You can register near the end of March or beginning of April at www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed.

 

1. Super Simple Swing 101 for Novice Dancers, Thurdays 6 to 7 pm at Gainesville High School

 

2. Beginning West Coast Swing, Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 pm at Gainesville High School

 

3. Beginning Senior Line Dancing, Thursdays 11:30 to 12:30 at the Senior Center

 

4. Intermediate Senior Line Dancing, Thursdays 12:30 to 1:30 at the Senior Center

 

In March, there are two beginning 6-Week series starting up.

 

- Introduction to Argentine Tango with Andrea, starts March 11, pham.andrea@gmail.com

 

- Beginning Ballroom Dancing with Kay Picart, starts March 22, www.ghfc.com/specialty-classes

 

You can also take Beginning East Coast Swing with Richard.

 

Both Judi and Ray are teaching Two-Step this month, Judi on Wednesdays and Ray on Thursdays.
