Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Need guest leaders. Beginning leads welcome. Super Simple Swing Dancing 101 starts this Friday 7:30 to 8:30 at Gainesville Health and Fitness Center. Swing and Sway has an afternoon dance this Friday.
The Gainesville Lindy Exchange hosted by the UF Swing Club begins this Friday and runs thru Sunday. This is a weekend of dancing with visitors from out of town. The big dances are:
- Friday, 9 pm to midnight at the Unified Training Center, $10
- Saturday, 7 pm to 11 pm at Gallery 26 in Melrose with Nick and the Swingtastics, $25. Go straight out NE 39 Ave (by the airport) or University Ave (fork left) on State Road 26 to 301. If you need a ride, let me know.
- Sunday, 8 pm to 12 am at the Rion Ballroom in the Reitz Union with Tramp Collection, $15

Also Saturday night is a Contra Dance at the Boltin Center and a Tango Milonga with David and Thuy.
Sunday morning is the monthly Waltz Brunch, country style. If you are a beginner, you will be welcome and people will show you what to do. At the Movement 10:30 to 1:30.
Be prepared for next weekend with Josh's Halloween Autism Fundraiser West Coast Swing Dance and Workshop with Demery Strickland, and UF Argentine Tango for the Cure weekend of workshops and dancing.
Santa Fe College Community Education Fall B is open for registration, which starts the last week in October.
