Gainesville Ocala Swing and Social Dance Newsletter 2013-10-04
Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
The dancing is pouring in this month.
You can now sign up for Super Simple Swing Dancing 101 with Andy offered at Gainesville Health and Fitness Center. If there is anyone you know that you have been trying to get into dancing, send them to this. Starts Friday October 18, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Runs for 6 weeks. Only $45 for members, $75 for non-members.
Tonight, Friday, Josh is leading a group to Ocala for dancing at Urban Cowboy. Only $5 if you get there between 8:30 and 0. After 9 it is $20. Josh says it is now non-smoking. I may go, so you can contact me if you want a ride. Details here.
Also tonight, UF Swing Club is in session as usual at the UTC.
Tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month and that means Josh is holding his West Coast Swing Dance. Come out for a fun evening.
The day after tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month and that means a Contra Dance at the Boltin Center. Swing and Sway also meets Sunday in the afternoon for a Tea Dance.
Everything else is as usual for the week, with Richard teaching Lindy on Tuesdays and Bob Rogers teaching 6-Count Hustle on Thursdays.
If you would like private lessons or private practice time, at inexpensive rates, let me know. I have been doing this with some people and it seems to be working out well.
