Need Your Feedback for November, Sign Up Now for Sept, Swing Dance Tonight, Ballroom Saturday

Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
 
First, please let others know about these programs and encourage them to go. Word of mouth is the best communication method. Word of email is good too, so please forward this to anyone that might be interested.
 
1. Need your feedback for scheduling sessions in November. We are scheduling two sessions on Thursday night, one from 6 to 7 pm and one from 7 to 8:30 pm. Let me know if you would be interested in any of these sessions for a 6-week series or let me know what you would like to do:
 
(a) Beginning Argentine Tango - geared towards Swing dancers, broaden your horizons
 
(b) All Levels Hustle! - fun, great companion to West Coast Swing
 
(c) Salsa - possibly on 2
 
(d) Super Simple Swing 102 - follow up to Super Simple Swing 101
 
(e) All Levels All Types Swing Dancing - a chance to learn, practice and dance to a wide range of music
 
(f) Israeli Partner Dancing - as fun dancing as there is, awesome dances to great music
 
2. Sign up now for Swinging Thursdays. There are two sessions, Super Simple Swing 101 for novices from 6 to 7 pm and All Levels All Types of Swing for everyone else from 7 to 8:30 pm.
 
All Levels All Types of Swing - this is an opportunity for you to learn some and dance a lot. Instruction focuses on fundamentals to help you improve your skills with an emphasis on balance, precision, communication, musicality and improvisation. If you sign up for this session, you can come early at 6 pm and join the prior class to refresh your basics and get in additional practice time.

You can also sign up for Beginning Israeli dancing on Monday evenings, Senior Round dancing Mondays at noon and Senior Line dancing Thursdays at noon.
 
Upcoming Dancing
 
UF Swing Club is back in session tonight, Friday, with a free lesson at 8 pm at the Unified Training Center, 809 W Univesity Ave. I have heard there are going to be some community people there, so come on out for a fun time.
 
Tomorrow night, join Ray and Eileen for a lovely Ballroom dance at By Ear Musician.
 
Next week dancing is as usual. Check the calendar.
 
Next weekend is River City Swing in Jacksonville. Take advantage of having a big, West Coast Swing event just an hour and a half away. www.RiverCitySwing.com
