Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
 
This is a busy weekend, starting with International Folk Dancing on Friday night. Or you can still catch the free Friday concerts downtown from 8 to 10 pm.
 
Come out Saturday from 2 to about 4 pm, for free, for a one-of-a-kind, entertaining performance of original romantic poetry by our dance community's own LaQianya Thompson Huynh, accompanied by a variety of local musicians and dancers at the downtown public library, top floor, on E University Ave and about S 3rd Street. Free parking at the library and on the street. You will want to bring some money to pick up signed copies of one of her books.
 
Saturday night come out to Gainesville's biggest dance party at the Boltin Center for Contra dancing, or join David and Thuy for an elegant milonga. david.chayes@gmail.com
 
After the Saturday night Contra dance there is a Sunday brunch Vintage Waltz. Come out to the Movement, 1212 N Main for fun, casual dancing and socializing.
 
Swing and Sway meets Sunday afternoon for a Tea Dance.
 
Coming up is Josh's 3rd Wednesday dance party, at the Movement. UF Tango is on break next Wednesday.

Super Simple Swing 101 for new dancers, goes super slow and is super easy, on Thursdays from 6 to 7 pm, 6 weeks
 
Swinging Thursdays for All Levels and all tyes of swing dancing, on Thursdays from 7:05 to 8:30, get in 6 weeks of fun swing dancing to a wide variety of music, with instruction and lots of dance time, focus on musicality, creativity, communication and having fun.
