Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Last night I attended Bob Rogers Intermediate Ballroom Waltz class. I can tell you, if you know a little waltz, like all those that go to Waltz Brunch or Waltz at the Contra Dances, you can easily learn the ballroom style and pleasantly glide around the floor in this excellent class. Come out to the Boltin Center on Tuesday nights this month from 7 to 9 pm. Intermediate Waltz is being taught along with Foxtrot, which are essentially the same except for the rhythm.
Senior Line Dancing with Andy starts tomorrow, Thursday 2/7 with a beginner class from 11:30 to 12:30 and intermediate from 12:30 to 1:30, for 4 weeks. Sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education under Senior section.

We still need guest leaders for Swing 101 at 7 pm at Gainesville High School on Thursdays. This is week 3 of 6. If you have not signed up, you can still sign up for Swing 101 and Israeli 101 (at 6 pm) by calling Santa Fe College Community Education 352-395-5193.
Beginning to intermediate Israeli Dancing with Andy is on Monday nights at B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, from 7 to 8:30 or so, with partner dances at the end of the evening. While you are in Israeli 101, Swing 101 or Senior Line Dancing, you can join us on Mondays for free.
Saturday night is Ray and Eileen's Ballroom Valentine's Dance.
