Israeli dancing Tuesday, new classes next week, Contra, Waltz brunch

Hello Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,
 
Tonight, Monday, is English Country dancing at 7 at 308 West.
 
Tuesday is Israeli Folk Dancing at 7:30 at 308 West. Beginners from 7:30 to 8:30. Intermediate 8:30 to 9. Partner dances 9 to 9:30.
 
International Folk Dancing next meets Friday February 3.
 
This Saturday is the monthly night time Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 8 pm.
 
Vintage Waltz Brunch is this Sunday.
 
Sign up at Santa Fe College Community Education for these three new classes. Encourage your friends to start dancing. (1) Contra Dancing 101, (2) Lindy Swing Dancing 101 and (3) Israeli Folk Dancing 101.

Coming up January 29 is the meditative dance Five Rhythms. No experience needed. Everyone can come out and get in touch with the universe through this unique experience.

When Josh told me he was going to make last Saturday's dance a fundraiser for Gary and Judi, I thought that would be a nice jester, but the $300 he might raise is not going to go far.
 
You all deserve a special thank you. You came from all over North Florida to support Gary and Judi. You showed that you are a community that cares. You raised $3,000+, which is a lot more than a gesture.
 
When you see Josh, make sure you let him know how much you appreciate the effort he is putting in to Gainesville's dance community.
